Migraine Ice™ by Metholatum®  is a form of Salonpas® (my opinion) and is available in some Supermarkets. These cost an average of $6.00 for a package of four (temple, neck, or forehead shaped/sized). Although the box contained no ingredient list nor did the pouch, it did state that it is manufactured in Japan.

It does come in a convenient, resealable pouch. I take the statement that "Doctor recommended treatment" refers to cold packs and not specifically to this product.

I also noticed that the picture on the packaging shows the patch placed inconsistently with the six migraine acupressure points (see the reflex charts) of Eastern medicine. Not necessarily meaning that it is ineffective, but merely that it does not coincide with the acupressure points.

Since I no longer have migraine and cannot sufficiently test it, please provide any feedback you may have (negative or positive) on this product from your own use so we may share it with others.

You can get them at  your local supermarket pharmacy or some Supermarkets.

Testimonials

"I have used the Migraine ice by Well Patch and I swear by them. It's one of the few non medication things I can use with no side effects. Also they fit on forehead not temples. I am not to fond of the temple pads but others seem to like them. Hope this helps."

Editorial Comment:  Thanks Natasha for taking the time to drop by and provide us your feedback. As my brother (a medical expert in his own right) once told me; "you could give me a 10 million dollar grant and I could devote the next ten years of my life trying to isolate the cause of your specific migraines and I still would not probably find it. The variables are so great." Remedies are similar; there are so many types of migraines and each type has so many personal differences. The remedy that works for one may not work for another or to a different degree. The key is if you have not found anything that works for you; try Migraine Ice and if that does not work, keep trying. Read my testimonial about my past migraine affliction for an in depth look at the tribulations of mine.
